Director of Public Works
The City of Abbeville is currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Director of Public Works.
The Director of Public Works is a part of the City's executive management team, and reports directly to the City Manager. This position manages, plans and supervises the activities of the Public Works Department, including the streets division, the sanitation division, and fleet maintenance division. This position also supports the other departments, and assists with various City projects.
This position requires a high school diploma, 8-10 years of construction experience, and a valid SC Commercial Dirver's License. An associate's degree in civil engineering or related field is preferred.
